Drain Cleaning

Tree roots, drain line corrosions, and improper disposal of grease or paper products are common causes of drain backups. Although sewer backups usually happen in the basement, excess sewage can also come up your toilet, sink, bathtub or shower drain. Anything connected to your drain system is fair game for an unfortunate sewer backup issue.

When you call us, Clear Drains’ team of drain cleaning specialists will first identify the problem. Our plumbers use industry leading mechanical snake to clear the blockage. For more complicated problems, a video camera inspection is recommended. As our specialists discovers the root of the issue, they keep you informed every step of the way, and then recommend the most effective solution.

It’s natural for buildups to occur as the years go by. The buildups include hair, grease, food particles and other small waste items that are continuously flushed down the drains in your sinks, tubs, showers and toilets. Clear Drains is the sewer backup cleaning company ready to clear out the waste. Clear Drains plumbers clean your drains and make sure any sewage flows away from your house. If the flow of your sewer pipes is reduced, usually by grease or blocked entirely, we perform a cleaning service called hydro-jetting. Using specialized high-pressure water equipment, hydro jetting clears blockages and blasts away stoppages within your drains, sending pieces of the blockage out towards the city waste management system.

Trenchless Sewer Drain Repair

At Clear Drains, sewer line replacement doesn’t mean destroyed yards, ruined driveways or devastated parking lots. Trenchless sewer line repair causes less damage than traditional repair methods. There are two different types of trenchless sewer line repair, pipe bursting and relining.

During the pipe burst we make small access holes where the damaged pipe starts and ends. Using your broken sewer line as a guide, our hydraulic machine pulls full-sized replacement pipe through the old path and breaks up the damaged pipe at the same time. The new pipe is highly resistant to leaks and root intrusion, with a long life expectancy.

Relining is the process of repairing damaged sewer pipes by creating a “pipe within a pipe” to restore function and flow. Epoxy relining materials mold to the inside of the existing pipe to create a smooth new inner wall. Pipe relining can be performed with little digging and may be used to repair root-damaged pipes; seal cracks and holes; fill in missing pipe and seal joint connections underground. The relined pipe is seamless and durable, and all materials used in the relining process are non-hazardous.
